dsc98566.jpg

View of the first thrust chamber; it appears to be the one which was sent to the National Air & Space Museum. This one had sustained a great deal of damage, with all of the regenerative cooling tubes being sheared off aft of the combustion chamber and many of the tubes inside the jacket having been separated as well.

Picture 2 of 3.

Overall view of the thrust chamber's new "exit plane." Note the missing tubes from approximately the 11:00 to 3:00 positions.
