Return to USS Cobia

Cut-Away Torpedo

What appears to be the afterbody of a torpedo with its outer skin removed. There's no sign accompanying this display, so I don't know the torpedo's type; a sign by another torpedo indicates that the Cobia uses Mark 14 torpedoes, so this may well be a Mk 14. It does bear a strong resemblance to the torpedo described in Chapter 4 "The Afterbody and its Mechanisms" of Torpedoes Mark 14 and 23 Types.
